Annual Trophy Awards Scheme

The Annual Trophy Tournament will be the penultimate tournament of the season with the trophies to be awarded at the final Annual Meeting Tournament dinner.

Trophies are awarded for individual play at the Annual Trophy Tournament, however to be eligible, a member must have played in one other tournament during the season.

All trophy winners will be notified within a few days following the tournament
and be awarded a $125 Tournament Coupon which it is hoped they will use towards the entry fee for the Annual Meeting Tournament after which the annual trophies will be awarded.

Golfer of the Year award is a season-long event to promote participation and foster a spirited competition throughout the year. Points are awarded based on participation in tournament and interstate matches, tournament results and Annual Trophy standings.

  • Championship: Low gross score, all ages, must play from standard tees.
  • Julian Curtiss Cup: Low net Score, 74 years and younger, handicaps to be adjusted according to the World Handicap System.
  • E. A. Moore Trophy: Low gross score, 75 years and older, gross scores will not be adjusted, therefore it is recommended that members interested in competing for this trophy play from the forward tees.
  • Charles F. Speidel Cup: Low net, age 75 years and older, handicaps to be adjusted according to the World Handicap System.
